Fun Fact: The average person laughs 10 times a day! Lets make it 11 if we can! :)
The bartender, confused, tells the duck no. The duck thanks him and leaves.
The next day, the duck returns and asks, "Got any grapes?"
Again, the bartender tells him, "No -- the bar does not serve grapes, has never served grapes and, furthermore, will never serve grapes." The duck thanks him and leaves.
The next day, the duck returns, but before he can say anything, the bartender yells, "Listen, duck! This is a bar! We do not serve grapes! If you ask for grapes again, I will nail your duck beak to the bar!"
The duck is silent for a moment, and then asks, "Got any nails?"
Confused, the bartender says no.
"Good!" says the duck. "Got any grapes?"
Hehehehehe- 11+ for me!!!!
Inspiration:
This morning I found myself a bit unenthusiastic as I rolled out of bed and into the shower. I am one of those people that refuses light as much as possible in the early mornings so you can guess the trouble I get into. I have many battle wounds from my adventures in the dark while trying to find my way about. I know this sounds foolish but there is just something about me that DOES NOT want to wake up BEFORE the sunrise….
Anyways back to my thought: throughout the day I was feeling small and insignificant. Things kept creeping up that made me feel less and I was feeling pretty helpless. Some days are just like that. I decided that I would read today’s daily word to help lighten my spirits and imagine my smile as to what I found:

Power
I assert my power in a positive, spiritually centered way.
From time to time I may need to remind myself that the power of God is within me, especially if I'm feeling weak or small. The power of God is no small power. It is the kind of power that claims the truth: I am strong. I am whole. I am worthy. This power fuels me to live a positive, spiritually centered life--the life I was born to live.
True power springs from the understanding that I am co-creating at all times with Spirit; that at any moment, I can step into the all-ness of being. When I am in touch with my true spirit, I am bursting with energy and enthusiasm. I know that the One Power is within me and I can draw on that power at any time. In truth, I AM that power.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.--Psalm 63:2

Strength
The power for the month of March is Strength which gives us the ability to endure, stay the course and persevere. The color that represents Strength is GREEN. It is also represented by the disciple Andrew, who represents the stability that lies at the foundation of every true character. We all possess strength, and we all express it in different ways. True strength for some of us entails us getting outside of our comfort zones and doing something new. For some of us, it has us standing up for those things we believe in. Whatever form our strength may take, one thing is certain. This is that we all possess strength in our hearts and minds, and they are always there for our benefit.
Fact for the week: In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the phrase "goodnight, sleep tight".
Food For Thought: This week I was thinking a lot about the future and what it holds in store. I was thinking about what lay in my future, in the future for my friends and family, and in the future for humans as a race. They were daunting questions, and I found myself speculating into the unknown… Into somewhere that was hard to imagine, and sometimes a little scary to imagine. I had to take a HUGE step back to calm myself down because I was leading myself in a hundred different places all at once, and I couldn’t focus on the here and now. It reminded me that the future IS and always WILL BE unknown, and I don’t want to waste the time I have worrying about the things I don’t have control over. Sometimes all it takes is a little reminder that the future isn’t JUST up to us, and it’s easier to let go of our expectations for what the future “could” or “should” be when we know that God is there with us, every step of the way. I encourage you all to take a moment to leave yourself a reminder that we aren’t alone.
Quote: I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled poets to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean. -Socrates
