12 Powers of Man Lessons These lessons are to help understand the 12 Powers. While they are great for demonstrating each power individually, they do not give background information about the 12 Powers, why they are important, or why we incorporate them into our spiritual teachings. Before leading the lessons, make sure your group knows what the Powers are and why they are important. If you're not sure, you can ask your minister or sponsor. Four lessons on Divine Order four lessons lovingly submitted by the Columbus chapter. Four lessons about Renunciation submitted by Michelle Bieniek of the Royal Oak chapter

Book Lessons These are the lessons that have been created to help process the Region's required readings for the year.
I of the Storm for Teens (2005-2006) This book, by Jane Simmons is about "Finding Peace in the Midst of Conflict". There is a book of curriculum available to purchase, which you can find more information about by contacting Jo Horn. However, we have posted this lesson by Danielle Keele to further assist you in reading and processing the book.
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success (2004-2005) To assist with processing “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” – by Deepak Chopra, 4 lessons that are based off of the book were created. It was recommended that the Y.O.U.ers read the book (or specific chapters of the book) before they did these lessons because they are based on processing the material not teaching it. The lessons are broken down as follows -Intention and Giving -Karma and Effort -Dharma and Pure Potentiality -Detachment Lessons could be in whatever order you feel would most benefit your chapter. They are not in the same order as the chapters in the book because they have been grouped concepts that play off each other well. Intention and Giving Karma and Effort Dharma and Pur Potentiality Detachment
Proving the Power of Principle (2004-2005) One of the books for required reading in 2004-2005 was “Proving the Power of Principle” by The Association of Unity Churches. (You can probably order this book through your church) This book is full of unique lessons that sponsors were asked to present to their chapters. To help them begin, sponsors were emailed this introductory lesson for the topic of this book. The lesson’s intention is to explore what Unity both teaches and believes. Within the book, it was discussed how our beliefs can help us live more spiritually aware lives. Proving the Power of Principle
Event Lessons These are the lessons that have been created to prepare Y.O.U.ers for the event and used for processing afterward. Fall Retreat 2005 "Love Perseveres" This first half of this opening lesson to Fall Retreat explores the concept of Love as an emotion and as a spiritual energy and Power. It has good discussion questions to introduce Y.O.U.ers to the Power Love. The second half of the lesson involves watching "Finding Nemo" and then discussing the movie and the idea of Perseverence. This would be a good lesson focusing on Love if an activity were added or would be a good lesson to do at a lock-in with your group.
Fall Retreat 2004 "Resonance" These lessons contain information about affirmations and denials, the 'planet dream', the Buddhist moment-by-moment philosophy, and the idea of spiritual resonance. The closing lesson focuses most heavily on the idea of using Zephyrus (Release), Athena (Wisdom), and Triton (Expression) to live our Truth everyday and keep ourselves in that state of Resonance with God. Resonance Opening Resonance Closing
Y.O.U. Created for Y.O.U. These are all the lessons that Y.O.U.ers have put together. If you have any lessons that you have made in the past that you think other chapters could benefit from we would love you to submit them and we will put them in this section. Submit by contacting us.
God Expressing This lesson was sent in by Anita Longhini from the Oak Park Chapter. It deals with what God is, how we see God, and how God expresses through us. It is a great lesson for introducing the general idea of how Unity views God and also for stimulating Y.O.U.ers to think about how they view God.
A Look at the Beatitudes This lesson was created by Beth Kuntz from Dayton to study and talk about the Beatitudes and different ways we can live them in our daily lives.
