Goal for the Week: Make personal development a priority, constantly expand your comfort zone, and take action consistently.
Food for Thought: For this week's inspiration, I'd like to share with you the poem that I shared with you at June Rally seeing as how many of you have been requesting it from me. I think it is a great lesson for everyone to think on. Enjoy. "I ask you tonight: what are you waiting for??? Why have you not being everything you can be? Why haven't you asked that crush you have out on a date, or applied for your motorcycle license or told your family your going back to school to become the one career you've always wanted to be? I know you have heard it a thousand times, you only get one life. Let me rephrase it for you in a way that will make sense: You're gonna die. Sometime. Somehow. The only difference between me and you is that I may have an idea of when and how. And that makes me lucky. I get to tell my parents I love them every day. I get to say goodbye to everyone. I'm in hospice. I'll just drift away like a feather in a dream someday while you're stuck in traffic going to a job you never really liked, cursing the people around you, dreaming your 'if only's. Please...take it from a girl who's already half angel. Don't wait. If you don't start today, get up, walk out that door and change your life to the best it can be, then when? Are you hearing me? Don't wait for that moment when you almost loose your life. Don't you dare waste your precious time, I'll be watching. Whether it be from the front row, or somewhere a little higher. I got your wings. I'm keeping them right here. The only price is letting go of your irrational fears. I've got them right here. Come, find them." da
Note from Jo: Jesus said that Heaven is not some celestial place away from Earth but rather our experience right here right now on earth, our state of mind, our emotions, our reactions. So each of us creates our own Heaven or Hell. What happens that we become conditioned to giving more notice to "what's wrong". We are bombarded by the news with negativity, we look at ourselves and others with negative judgement, we feel attacked by other people's opinions rather than knowing, understanding, and appreciating ourselves. I myself will notice the one driver on the highway that cuts me off and react to that but fail to notice the dozens of other drivers that are moving in harmony. Life is not about being happy or sad, good or bad. It's not even about making your dreams come true, that much is inevitable. There is only BEING. Eternal Blessed Being.....the nature of God....centered in the Here and Now. Look for God around, in everyone, in everything, sense the joys and sorrows of others, sense the Divinity. Know that there is magic everywhere, in every second, somewhere in the world thundering waves are crashing at sunrise on the white sands of a tropical beach, there are dolphins leaping into the air, eagels soaring just beneath the sun, people laughing, a newborn baby is filling its lungs for the first time, a young man is being healed. Challenges and opprtunities come our way for our continued awakening to let us know that each of us is divine, powerful, unlimited and eternal. Think good thoughts, move with them, listen to your heart and God will continue to bring the magic and beauty of life to each of us.
Regional Team News: Well, the biggest regional team news is.... Ben is coming to my city next week!!! We are so ready for this planning meeting to happen. I know it's just going to be fantastic. I can't wait! :)
