Greetings from the warm climate in Florida! and A HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!
Giving and a Receiving in the Heart of Thanksgiving
This Sunday I visited the Unity Church in Palm Harbor in Florida. It was a truly beautiful and inspiring service and it gave me that the chance to really think about the upcoming holiday. As I drove away, I thought about how grateful I was to have happened upon this beautiful place and the messages that God was helping me to see. I said to myself: "Thank you God for this fantastic opportunity! Thank you God for this perfect day."
Thank You God: Perhaps one of, or the, most powerful prayers in the world. Every religion uses it and whether in verse, song or text. It is a simple prayer of immense healing and love.Previously I have found that I typically only thanked God when I was truly grateful about something. A situation was resolved, a friend or merely for having a wonderful day. But if this prayer is so powerful, what if we used it even when times were hard. This prayer is so powerful that when we utter it with true intention and compassion, the healing through God's love has already begun. We can turn this prayer into an affirmation and use it to co-create our realities with God: Thank you god for helping me put that negative situation behind me. Thank you God for letting me find peace with myself and others. I am personally having a wonderful week with my family and I am so thankful for this opportunity to relax in the love they provide. Thank you God!!
Mission:
The word Thanksgiving is a two part word. First there is Thanks. Wonderful appreciation of the love and prosperity around us. The second part is Giving. We are so thankful for all the love and life that has been given to us. This is another opportunity for US to give! Give the love and be thankful for those who receive it and return it! This week in particular, tell those you love that you do!! As we begin to prepare for advent and the Christmas holidays, remember to give thanks to God for this year, each day, each moment. When we can see the light in others and bless them, God is working through us in perfect love. God may work through us in mysterious ways, but isn't is just spectacular?!

Inspiration:
This is absolutely unbelievable. I know that not all of you have sound, but you can still watch this and see this young ladies talent. I will tell you the basics, she is now 12 years old. She started painting at age 4, her Mother is an atheist so God was never discussed in their home and she really had never been taught anything about him or the bible. She has “visions” and has told her Mom she has visited heaven numerous times. She gives God the glory for her talent. She has never had an art lesson. P.S. Her family now believes in God! Enjoy.

Note from Jo: Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.?
