If only a few photos are involved, emailing them to webmaster will work fine. Two things to watch out for when emailing pictures are... 1) When taking the pictures make sure your camera is set to a high resolution. Many people set it low to get more pictures on a memory card. Low resolution can and will affect picture quality on the web. 2) DO NOT allow your email program to reduce the size/resolution of the photos you are emailing. This can be done manually by you or automatically by your email program. This is done to make the email message smaller. Again, this will negatively affect the quality of the pictures on the web. ALSO, I will be touching up all pictures for optimum quality. Touching up small pictures is incredibly difficult and sometimes impossible. The surest ways to maintain quality AND efficiency are... 1) to put the ORIGINAL full size pictures on a CD and mail it to me. Note: This is a NEW address! These services allow you to upload the pictures to the service, then I am notified they are there, and I then download them from there. These services are generally free in their basic form. These things are important to maintain the quality of the pictures we present both for viewing and more importantly for downloading. Sometimes a small adjustment to the picture can make a HUGE difference in quality. As you might gather, I am very fastidious about my photographic work and take a lot of pride in what I do and what I present. Your photos are as important to me as mine are. BTW, I will be present at the June rally to, along with Russ Gnant, photograph the entire event for presentation at the rally's end and then on the website and the gallery.
